AidEx is the event for everyone involved in humanitarian and development aid. The conference theme for 2016 will be ‘Localisation’ – discussions will include ways the not-for-profit sector and commercial organisations can benefit from localising aid, the risks involved and both the short and long term effects of localisation. The event brings together all important actors contributing to humanitarian assistance: international organizations such as UNDP (United Nations Development Programme), UNHCR (United Nations High Commission for Refugees) and OCHA (Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs), NGOs, public organizations and governments, as well as private companies.

IC2 Feeniks will be part of Finpro’s Developing Markets Growth Program  Suomi- Finland Stand in Aidex conference and exhibition.  We introduce our public safety & rescue solutions. Our tents can be used when a catastrophe or an accident occurs as a shelter for local residents as well as generally supporting aid operations during wars and conflicts.  Patient Isolation Pods gives the protection needed for the personnel and the patient while transferring to the hospital. Our specialty is to provide top quality solutions withstanding in all weather and climate conditions.

Tour de Sky – Kuopio International Airshow June 18.-19, 2016 is the main airshow event in Finland 2016.

Airshow is organized by The Finnish Aeronautical Association (FAA) in co-operation with First Event Ltd.  FAA’s annual airshow is the biggest aviation event each year in Finland. Airshow is organized each year in different city / airport to cover the whole country. Local flying and skydiving clubs are traditionally also working for the show. The main airshow returns to Kuopio International Airport after nine years. Finland’s main annual airshow is also the main annual airshow for Finnish Air Force, Army Aviation and Border Guard.  Kuopio International Airport is also home of Finnish AF Fighter Squadron 31 flying Boeing F/A-18C/D Hornets.

Vaasa Energy Week offers interesting events and forums for experts in both the public and private sectors. The international event is arranged for the fifth time in 2016.
Vaasa Gas Exchange (VGE) held in 17.3.16 is an international networking event for energy experts, focusing on gases including natural gas, LNG, biogas, LBG and other gaseous fuels for power generation, transportation and shipping. VGE will be held for the first time in 2016. The event will be held in the Vaasa City Hall and it consists of an exhibition and an in-depth seminar. The exhibition area is open from 9:00 – 16:00 and the seminar is arranged in two sessions between 10:00 – 12:15 and 13:00 – 15:10.

Minister of Defence Jussi Niinistö has authorized The Finnish Defence Forces Logistics Command to acquire camouflage materials for The Finnish Defence Forces. The value of the purchase is around 10 million Euros and includes camouflage nets and camouflage support poles. IC2 Feeniks continues as provider the camouflage support poles. The estimated value of the purchase is around 1,5 million Euros.

“This is the valuable extension to our co-operation with Finnish Defence Forces. Our customers have been satisfied with the quality products and the service. This is a important contract to us and we will continuously improve our co-operation and well as offer more specified customized covering solutions” comments Plant Manager Kalevi Rautiainen.
